Why here

A party where something happens

A Christmas party in a restaurant is a dinner. People sit with whoever they sit with at work and leave at ten.

Here there is a beer pong tournament, karaoke, table football and darts. Tournaments run every Wednesday, so we know how to organise one in a way that pulls in the people who said they were not playing.

Evening rate or bar spend

Your choice. Either you pay to hire the hall, or we agree a minimum bar spend and the hire fee disappears. For larger groups the second option almost always works out better.

Rental is free if you spend 22,000 CZK at the bar that evening.
Or pay 14,000 CZK and spend what you like.
Anything in between, we will work it out.

We are not VAT registered. The price you see is the price you pay.

Same prices all week. You can mix the two: every 1,000 CZK of rental is covered by 1,540 CZK of bar spend.

Deposit and cancellation

A 50% deposit confirms your date.
Cancel more than 14 days ahead, you get the full deposit back.
Cancel less than 7 days ahead, the deposit stays with us.
Anywhere in between, we will find you another date.

There is no minimum notice. But book six weeks ahead and you still get to pick your date.

Questions

What people ask

How late can it run?
Loud music until 22:00, because there is a dormitory above us. The party itself carries on, the music just drops to a reasonable level — and that is rarely a problem.
When should we book a December date?
Christmas parties in Prague get booked from September, the best dates earlier than that. Fridays in December go first.
Can you sort the food?
Masarykova kolej handles catering from the same building, or you can bring your own. We do not have a kitchen, so food always comes through catering.
Can we bring our own DJ?
Yes. There is a DJ desk and a jack cable ready; we agree the exact connection with whoever turns up, depending on their kit.
What if we have to cancel?
A 50% deposit confirms the date. Cancel more than 14 days ahead and we return it in full; less than 7 days and it is forfeited. In between we will always try to find you another date instead.
Is the place ours alone?
For the duration of your event, yes. The hall and the bar are yours and nobody else comes in.
